Svend made this version of Sambastiana for a concert in Tivoli 1979 with Anton Kontra, concertmaster in "Zealand Symphony Orchestra" (now "Copenhagen Phil").

The Solo-version of Sambastiana is published by Edition Wilhelm Hansen in "Solo Bowing - Svend Asmussens Evergreen Violin Solos", a collection of 3 of Svends compositions and 11 arrangements of standards - with CD played by Kim Sjøgren.

Sketch for the duo-version bar 10-20. The original solo-version is in the upper part (bar14 in the lower) and a second voice was added.

The meaning of the arrows is obvious if you compare with the finished arrangement.
