Ellen Bick Asmussen, Svend Asmussens widow, has kindly given access to Svends posthumous manuscripts of compositions and arrangements for free publishing. “It is in the spirit of Svend” as she points out. The pile of music scores includes:

• A Few complete arrangements. (Often were they reworked in collaboration with the musicians).
• Single parts from arrangements of own compositions and standards. (The other parts were given to the musicians and are disappeared).
• Sketches of all kinds.

The editor of the music has in most cases consulted the recordings and/or transcribed instrument parts by ear to correct and complete a score and thereby make it useable for musicians. Comments are in the scores. For each composition you'll find

• a PDF with score and parts,
• a PDF with a relevant Svend Asmussen original page,
• an mp3 with the computer-sound and
• in some cases an mp3 with ca. 20 seconds from the original LP or CD.
